                The department of English in Chaiytu Gayta (Alor) Government college, Pharasgaon was establishment of college. graduation level classes (B.Sc., B.com, and B.A.) are being conducted in English department. The main aim of the English department is to develop language skill.

                The department of English has been extending greater contribution to the college in the area of English language learning initiative with latest teaching method and other student centred learning activities for the overall development of the learners

Part - I (B.Sc, B.A. B.Com)

Unit I :- Basic language skill -grammar and usage.

Unit II :-  Comprehension of an unseen passage.

Unit III :- Composition.

Unit IV :- Letter writing.

Unit V :- Text.

Part - II (B.Sc, B.Com, B.A.)

Unit I :- Short answer question to be assessed by (5 short answer question of 3 marks each)

Unit II :- (a) - Reading comprehension of an unseen passage

              (B) - Vocabulary

Unit III :- Report – writing

Unit IV :-  Expansion of an idea.

Unit V :- Grammar and vocabulary based on the prescribe textbook.

Part - III (B.Sc, B.Com, B.A.)

Unit I :- Essay type answer in about 200 words, 5 Essay type question to be asked 3 to be attempted.

Unit II :- Essay writing.

Unit III :-Precis writing.

Unit IV:-(a) - Reading comprehension of an unseen passage.

                (B) - Vocabulary based on text.

Unit V :-  Grammar advanced exercises.
